I started Deerview Products and living the 'good-life' when my farm was purchased in 1991. I kept free range chickens and sold their eggs to local people from the farm gate.

Soon after this I began producing jams, marmalades, chutneys and such in small quantities using my own home grown soft fruit and vegetables. However, as my sales increased I started to look to other local growers and to this day my priority is to buy as much produce from local sources, followed by English grown produce whenever possible.

With the start of farmers markets I really found the perfect outlet for my produce and I began to increase my output quite significantly and also to experiment with different recipes. Following the success of these markets, in 2002 I started to supply farm shops and other small specialist shops.

In 2004 the business was boosted by the arrival of new family members to 'the team' and we have expanded our range still further and are also producing catering jars which can be used by hotels, restaurants, pubs etc.
